Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using UniPing ("the Service"), a Chrome browser extension that helps you research LinkedIn profiles and generate personalized outreach messages, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

UniPing is a browser extension that:

  • Extracts publicly available information from LinkedIn profiles you visit
  • Uses artificial intelligence to analyze profile data and generate personalized outreach messages
  • Provides research insights and recommendations for connecting with professionals
  • Offers subscription-based access with different usage limits based on your plan

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use UniPing, you must:

  • Create an account using a valid email address
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Free Trial and Subscription Plans

Free Trial: New users receive a free trial with 6 profile analyses/messages. The trial has no expiration date but is limited to 6 total uses.

Subscription Plans:

  • Starter (Basic): 100 uses per month (monthly) or 1,200 uses per year (yearly)
  • Professional (Pro): 500 uses per month (monthly) or 6,000 uses per year (yearly)

Usage limits reset at the beginning of each billing period. Unused uses do not roll over to the next period.

5. Payment and Billing

Subscription fees are processed through Dodo Payments. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees associated with your subscription plan
  • Automatic renewal of your subscription at the end of each billing period
  • Price changes will be communicated in advance and apply to subsequent billing periods
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or at our discretion
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time, and it will remain active until the end of the current billing period

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use UniPing only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Extract or use LinkedIn data in violation of LinkedIn's Terms of Service
  • Use the Service to send spam, harassment, or unsolicited commercial messages
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service in a way that exceeds reasonable usage
  • Share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
  • Use the Service to generate content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or violates others' rights

7. LinkedIn Data and Compliance

UniPing extracts publicly available information from LinkedIn profiles. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are responsible for complying with LinkedIn's Terms of Service and User Agreement
  • You must respect the privacy and rights of LinkedIn users whose profiles you analyze
  • You will not use extracted data for purposes that violate LinkedIn's policies
  • UniPing is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn
  • We are not responsible for any violations of LinkedIn's terms that may result from your use of the Service

8. AI-Generated Content

Messages and research generated by UniPing are created using artificial intelligence. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or errors
  • You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all generated content before use
  • You should not rely solely on AI-generated content without human review
  • We are not liable for any consequences resulting from the use of AI-generated content
  • You retain full responsibility for all messages you send, regardless of whether they were generated by UniPing

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by UniPing and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the Service or any part thereof
  • Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without permission
  • Create derivative works based on the Service

You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service, subject to these Terms.

10. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain the Service's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time
  • Update features, functionality, or pricing
  • Perform maintenance that may temporarily interrupt service
  • Limit or restrict access for users who violate these Terms

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Fail to pay subscription fees when due

You may terminate your account at any time through the account settings. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, and you will not be entitled to any refund of fees paid.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNIPING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
  • Service interruptions or unavailability
  • Any consequences resulting from your use of generated messages or research

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UniPing, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights (including LinkedIn's terms)
  • Any content you create or messages you send using the Service

14. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which UniPing operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and UniPing regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
